120,000 euros raised for spinal cord injury research and quality of life improvement projects
After a year of hard work, a record number of 750 swimmers jumped into the Rapenburg on Saturday, September 17 to raise money for paraplegia research. This fourth edition of the Rapenburg Race in Leiden raised 120,000 euros! With this record amount we can make a nice contribution to four carefully selected projects that give attention and support to different aspects of living with and treating spinal cord injury; namely hand and arm functions, walking, mental well-being and generic research. You can find our projects below.
- Emotional Well Being Toolkit
- Project MARCH
- Universitair Neurochirurgisch Centrum Holland
- Project Serious Gaming
